There's a phone scam going around Albany County that you need to be aware of!
Sheriff Craig Apple has issued a warning letting Albany residents that the latest phone scam is someone claiming to be from the Albany County Sheriff's office and demanding money. If you don't answer the call they will leave you a message with contact info.
The number that is calling people is (518)-345-7055. Whatever you do, DO NOT call this number. It has been set up to collect information. I wanted you to have it so that you know if they call you, don't answer the call or call them back.
