I'd be lucky if I won $5 on a scratch off ticket and here's Patricia Stanton of Niskayuna winning $1 Million on a Lady Luck 7 scratch off ticket.
Ok, maybe I'm just a little jealous of her but on the flip side this is really awesome! It's not that often that we have any kind of BIG winner when it comes to anything NY Lottery.
The story gets even better for Patricia because she actually bought the ticket on Mother's Day, with her Mom, when they stopped at Stewart's after getting their nails done. She says that she bought a few tickets and told her Mom to pick one. Although Mom picked a $10 winner Patricia ended up with the giant win. I wonder if her Mom is mad that she didn't pick the right ticket???
